The Trusted Adviser programme works at revising and redefining how customers perceive your organisation. It is designed to enhance and enrich relationships and grow the confidence of key client contacts within your organisation.
Participants follow a practical pathway to achieving Trusted Adviser status with key customers. Relevant client-critical knowledge and the necessary skills are brought together and evaluated in a meaningful and measurable context by TPI experts.
Programme Features
The programme teaches the seven essentials of The Trusted Adviser:
Adaptive Behaviour - Participants are tasked to understand and adapt their roles by accentuating their strengths and modifying weaknesses to improve communication skills leading to broader and deeper business relationships.
Emotional Maturity™ - Participants are shown how to manage the 16 key variables in their emotional makeup to foster better critical relationships.
Winning Attitude - Using the TPI Attitude Inventory™ we show participants how to understand and manage, change and manipulate their beliefs and value system to achieve extraordinary effects.
Trust and Trustworthiness (Ethos) - Participants learn how customers perceive credibility, integrity and behavioural style and they are shown how to use the Trustworthiness Quotient™ to measure their success and progress.
Essence and Logic (Logos) - Participants are taught how to demonstrate detailed customer knowledge and their grasp of issues they face through the skilled use of Socratic Questions and Exemplary Listening.
Passion and Rapport (Pathos) - Better connections can be made with clients when participants are better able to understand their own and their customer's perceptual preferences.
High Impact Skills - Using Transactional Analysis participants are taught how to optimise their interpersonal impact to achieve resonant effects. This skill is further enhanced by Master Classes in Persuasive Presentation™ or Collaborative Negotiation™.
Course duration: Three-days, followed by specific skills classes and follow-up with TPI personnel as required by specific projects, assignments, or personnel.
Who should attend?
Anyone that has to develop trust-centred relationships - with customers, business partners and fulfil other advisory, negotiation, consultation and people management functions within an organisation.
How your organisation benefits
Through transformation training your organisation will become:
- Fully involved in your client’s strategic direction.
- Involved at the earliest stages of client processes.
- Sought as a first resort adviser.
- Trusted implicitly.
- Confidential sharers in crucial client information.
In return, your clients are far more likely to act as advocates for your organisation telling others about the quality of service you provide.
What is the delivery format?
The following graphic illustrates the process that we adopt in a workshop as well as the tools that we use to reinforce learning in the workplace. As with all of our solutions the final approach will be tailored specifically to meet your needs.
